yes   we can fit up rated rear suspension spring see Optional Extras for cost. The up rated spring comes a Standard on the large range battery pack.

We have tested the load capability in the rear with just over 200kg and total weight with Driver and passenger 355kg . Eive handled it with ease.

No, not really.  As you can see the battery is situated behind the front seats acting like a bulkhead. Plus, the weight of the battery is in the centre of the van so the weight is evenly distributed.

Most modern cars do not come with a spare wheel. If you would like a spare wheel we can always supply one. How many motorcyclist do you see with a space wheel?

Yes, the Eive needs an MOT just like any other car. As far as servicing goes we have a network of 2cv specialists around the UK who can service the Eive. It will cost less to service than a petrol 2cv as there is less to do. We recommend servicing the Eive 12000 miles or once every 2 years.

The simple answer is… anywhere with a power supply. You can also use a type 2 EV charger plug which are very common at changing stations. You will need to buy a type 2 adapter to use them.

If you have 10% in your battery and you charged it to 90% then on our standard battery pack, it will take approximately 2.5 hours.

No.  You will not damage the battery by leaving it on charge when it has hit 100%.

Once it’s reached 100% you can unplug it. As the battery will retain 90% of the initial charge after 6 months. The Eive will not lose power from the battery over night unlike modern electric vehicles.

No, there is no need to keep an eye on it or unplug it when it is full as the Eive will automatically stop charging when full.

The same as if you run out of fuel in an ICE car. The car stops working and you will need to plug it in. You need to ask yourself how often do you run out of fuel?

Yes, we have an Eive for test drives. Get in contact with us and we can book you in.

I recommend ZAP MAP, it has all the UK charging points and you can filter the charging points down to the type you need.

To start with it can be a bit confusing but all you really need to know is just plug it in when not in use. You do not need to know the power or Kwh volts or amp to plug it in to a 3 pin plug. Public charging points are quite simple as well. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

No.  The lights work from the 12 volt battery. The best way to get more range is to drive it sensibly. If you find yourself getting low on power (I am not talking about 20% or 15% ,more like below 8%) and you still have some time before you get to your charge point then slow down. The slower you go the more range you will get and it makes a big difference. You will also find when you go down hill with your foot OFF the accelerator pedal then it will go into regen mode (regen mode puts power back into the battery).
