Range

How far can I go on a full charge?

The range varies for Eive depending on the battery option. The real world range is from 65 to 160 miles in our long range model. We tested our standard battery pack around the centre of London and achieved a range of just over 75 miles. We do not quote WLTP (Worldwide Light Test Procedure) ranges as the mainstream manufacturers do because WLTP is so optimistic, you will seriously struggle to get anywhere near the WLTP ranges.

How we test our range

Our range test is a real world test drive. We start by fully charging the battery and we drive until the battery is flat, it is that simple. On the test we drive it in the conditions we designed it for and we drive it normally (NO hyper miling). We even made a little video to prove it

Battery Options

Before you just order the larger range battery pack. We ask you to think carefully about what, where and how often you will be using your Eive.

If you are mainly driving in towns/cities or local trips then the standard pack will probably be the best option for you.

If you think you need the extra range then it will be available with the bigger pack but the long range pack will cost more and will reduce the payload.

For example, on average a London cab only does 80 miles per day.

If you feel the standard battery pack isn’t quite enough range for your local commute then you can opt for the larger battery pack.
